Jane Mickleburgh (18--)
Jane married a Scottish soldier, whose name I cannot recall, and who later became a business man. They subsequently lived in Edinburgh . Harry Mickleburgh worked on the railway and was entitled to some free travel each year so he and his family members went to visit her.
The tenement buildings where they first lived they did not have separate bedrooms but that they slept in shallow alcoves built into the thick stone walls of the living room.
They later became more prosperous and Jane constantly sent parcels of cast off clothing home to Horningtoft. Sarah always claimed the hats which she used to pad with newspaper until they fitted and Lillian had all the rest.
